Environmentalists want Ban on Insecticides

by admin December 31, 2017

Scientists are calling for a ban on insecticides after research shows the declining number of insect populations.

According to scientists, flying insects in nature protected areas has dropped more than 75 per cent since 1990.

The study which spanned 27 years revealed that insect numbers are declining and we don’t fully understand why.

The revelation of declining bee populations has Europe’s policy makers considering changes.

Studies like this remind us of why having insect screens installed is so important rather than killing insects, who are already endangered.
