Increase in Insect Population Anticipated in SA Following Rains

Insect numbers have been tipped to rise significantly following the wet weather in the state.

According to Professor Chris Daniels of the University of South Australia, more insects are expected than ever as the state experiences high rainfall.

He says even the more uncommon insects we don’t often see will increase over this period as well as the more common pests such as ants and termites.
