An example of insects becoming a menace to humans was presented at a Sydney rail station recently.
Commuters of a Sydney train were warned of swarms of bees at St Peters Station.
Via twitter the commuters were told to “bee aware” when stepping out of inner west trains. Swarms of bees were apparently seen at the station.
Sydney Trains posted photos of the problem insects and warned commuters to avoid the platforms at the Sydenham end where the bees were concentrated.
The incident was reported to a local bee removalist company.
